Goodbye 2015, looking forward to seeing you 2016! - Women's Agenda

Goodbye 2015, looking forward to seeing you 2016!

It’s almost Christmas (you’ve probably noticed) and this is the last day Women’s Agenda will be publishing until Tuesday 12th January.

We wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for your support this year, we know our regular readers have high expectations of us and we love you for it, it is the thing that keeps our expectations of ourselves so high.

There have been a few big changes this year. Georgie moved on, it was difficult for her to leave and for us to see her go, but she is doing great things in her new role and we are so very pleased for her and her career.

We were thrilled to finally be able to upgrade our website and make it easier for you to read on your phones and tablets, we’ll keep improving and tweaking throughout 2016 and always value your feedback. We’ll also be redesigning the daily email, making it much cleaner and simpler, so keep your eye out for it and make sure you sign up if you haven’t already.

We’ll also be putting a lot of work into out events next year. The Women’s Agenda Network Breakfast have been a great success, so we will be expanding those opportunities and focussing on getting more really great speakers as well as finding new and exciting ways for you to network with the other Women’s Agenda readers.

We’ll also be working with you more to ensure we are giving you the style and topics you want from Women’s Agenda content. We want to hear from you on what works, what doesn’t, what you want to see more, what you want to see less.

Angela Priestley will be on maternity leave for the first half of 2016, and we wish her and her family all the best (and crossing all our fingers for a happy sleepy baby). Given that she spent her first maternity leave writing a book, we don’t expect it will be too long before we hear from her again.

And there are other great plans afoot, more details to come next year.

I am more thrilled than I can say to be writing this as the editor of Women’s Agenda. It is a privilege and an honour, I never forget how lucky I am to have this job and how much I appreciate the support I’ve had from the fantastic staff and wonderful community here. Thank you all and we’ll see you back here on the 12th of January.

Have a wonderful break Women’s Agenda readers, we know you’ve earned it.
