Mirvac Group announced today that London-based Australian executive Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz will become its new CEO following the departure of Nick Collishaw.
Lloyd-Hurwitz, 45, is currently based in London as the Europe managing director of LaSalle Investment Management. She has previously held senior executive roles at Macquarie Group and Lend Lease in Australia, Europe and the US.
“Susan comes to Mirvac with a wealth of experience gained from 23 years working across four continents and many facets of the property sector,” said Mirvac Group chairman James MacKenzie in a statement.
“She is a respected leader of people and businesses, has a global outlook and is well-versed in the opportunities and challenges associated with all parts of the business cycle.”
According to MacKenzie, Collishaw has agreed to step down from the position of CEO and managing director on 31 October, with Lloyd-Hurwitz taking up the role before the end of the year.
Collishaw was appointed CEO in August 2008, having joined the company back in 2005.
