The list of finalists for the Women in Technology Awards is in, recognising leading women who are making waves in the traditionally male-dominated fields of technology and life sciences.
WiT president Fiona Hayes says this year’s group of finalists share a commitment to making the workplace better for future generations. They’re from a diverse range of fields covering software engineers, data mining, web intelligence, bioengineering, virtual worlds, nanotechnology and more.
“Their work and research is helping to make the world a better place –pioneering medical research and driving technological innovation,” said Hayes.
Now in their 19th year, the awards program will present 10 winners with awards in early September.
