Model and former Dancing with the Stars contestant Brooks Nader has received praise for “normalising” her relatable outfit mishap, posting a TikTok of a period stain on her white skirt at Wimbledon.
Nader shared footage of her skirt with a small blood stain on the back from her period.
She poses elegantly next to the caption “~tries to be chic~ Starts 🩸 at Wimbledon.”
“Of course 🎾 #wimbledon,” she added.
Posted on July 4, the video has since gone viral, with over 1.6 million views and Nader is being applauded for turning a scenario that some might be embarrassed by, into a funny and relatable clip.
“You’re so real for this,” one person commented, with another adding: “A cannon event for all us girlies”.
Other comments thanked her for “normalising what we go through” and even that the outfit mishap was “more chic now”.
“I fear this is actually very chic queen,” someone said, joining in on the chorus of praise.
Responding to someone who asked whether or not Nader changed her outfit after seeing the stain, Nader commented that she “stayed and slayed”.
Nader attended Wimbledon with her sisters Grace Ann Nader and Sarah Jane Nader.
Sarah Jane Nader posted a video of Brooks Nader’s outfit at Wimbledon as well, with the video showing Brooks sneaking around the arena and poking fun at the expectation for women to hide unexpected period stains.
The Nader siblings, including Mary Holland Nader, all recently filmed a Hulu docuseries called Love Thy Nader about their tight-knit sibling bond.
Brooks Nader has appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue numerous times, including on the cover. She also competed on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars alongside pro Gleb Savchenko. The pair were eliminated from the competition series in October 2024.
