The three classics you need in your beauty bag

Classics are classics for a reason — people love them so much, they’ll simply never go out of style or favour. And it’s no shock that many are of hydrating variety; the comfort these classics provide make them the mainstays in our beauty bags.

So, without further ado, check out my classic checklist of hydrators and see which one your missing from your routine.

ChapStick
Chapstick was born in the 1800’s (yes – really!) when Chapstick founder, Charles Browne Fleet decided to make the very first lip balm. And thank goodness he did. No more dry lips! Chapsticks are not only a long lasting beauty buy, but a must have for young and old, guys and girls alike. Strawberry would have to be the quintessential pick of the bunch, and I love that it’s now available with included SPF 15 too. Bring on summer weekends!

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
When it comes to cult, this product would have to be in the top ten, ever. REALLY! If you’ve used it, you’ll know what I’m talking about. Yet to try it? Once you get your hands on it (literally) you’ll know what I mean. Still need convincing? One of these is sold every three seconds around the world! Stats like that are hard to ignore. As are the premium hydrating and nourishing properties within this wonder cream. Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super-creamy balm penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturise hands. The inclusion of honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are another bonus.

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Cream
So, we’ve covered face, lips and hands, but any beauty lover will know you’ve got to take care of the entire package too. Enlisting a hard working hydrating body product is a must, especially as we come into the warmer weather. And choosing one that works fast will keep you inclined to using it with dedication – rather than every couple of weeks when the skin on your pins looks like the Sahara! Egyptian Magic fits the bill, and then some. It can be used in your hair, on your face and even on your cuticles too, not just on the body. But that’s where you’ll probably appreciate it most. Especially pre-bikini season.
