Pepsi apologises: Who could think the Kendall Jenner ad was a good idea?

Pepsi has announced it’s pulling its Kendall Jenner-led advertisement that has been accused of trivializing the Black Lives Matter movement and other social justice issues.

But we’re left gobsmacked at who could have ever thought it was a good idea in the first place.

The ad was posted to YouTube on Tuesday, and featured Jenner stripping off a white wig and removing her lipstick to participate in a street protest and handing a can of Pepsi to a police officer.

“Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding,” Pepsi said in a statement. “Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologise.”
