Jane Huxley lands massive role at Spotify

Jane Huxley lands new gig as Spotify MD

Former Pandora boss and self-described disruptor Jane Huxley has just landed a massive new role, as the managing director of Spotify Australia New Zealand.

Jane quit as Pandora MD earlier this year, with the online music streaming service announcing it would be closing in Australia.

She’ll now replace Kate Vale at Spotify, who left the role in May, after initially joining the company in 2011 to launch the service in Australia and New Zealand.

Jane has enjoyed a 25-year career in innovation, media technology and disruption including with Microsoft, Vodafone and Fairfax, and has developed a reputation for delivering straight-up advice on confidence, optimism and having a positive mindset.

Globally, Spotify has 60 million paid subscribers.

Jane starts in the role on the 1st September.
