Podcast: Creativity, storytelling and exposing the real issues

Podcast: Creativity, storytelling and exposing the real issues

The Women's Agenda Podcast

Dr Neela Janakiramanan co-hosts the podcast, sharing the inspiration and process behind her first book, The Registrar, and discussing the week’s biggest stories.

We look at the fallout from the US Supreme Court’s decision to end the constitutional right to an abortion, and what it means for us here in Australia.

We share some wins around diversity, including in the beauty industry and in Hollywood.

We also talk about the key themes in Neela’s book, including what it’s like to be a junior surgeon.

And we talk creativity! How does it come? When do you write? Can writing support your other work? And how do you use storytelling to bring to life what’s really going on in a system, an industry, or something else?
