Nominations OPEN for the 2022 Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards

It’s on! We’re so excited to be launching nominations for our 2022 Women’s Agenda Leadership Awards, aiming to celebrate and elevate women demonstrating resilience and so much more in how they lead.

You can nominate a leader, or enter yourself on our awards website here.

Our awards program (this is our 9th awards!) has always focused on emerging leaders. Our goal is to uncover the household leadership names of tomorrow, those women who are leading in ways now that will be critical for the resilience and sustainability of their business, industry, community and the planet in the years ahead.

This year’s program is resilience, highlighting the work of women in responding to some of the biggest challenges of our time.

And as always, there are no age limits or years spent in a career when it comes to determining who are “emerging” leaders. Rather, we look for work achievements and momentum made over a set judging period, since January 2021.

Our emerging categories cover: Entrepreneurship, STEM, Health, Climate Action, Private Sector, Arts & Entertainment and the NFP sector.

We also have the annual Agenda Setter of the Year award, open to both emerging and established leaders. Plus there is the Small Business Leadership Award — open to leaders in businesses of less than 100 staff members. This year we are also aiming to celebrate Five Heroes From the Frontline, an initiative we created in 2021 to celebrate and acknowledge the work of women on the frontlines in responding to the bushfires, the pandemic, the floods, and other crises.

We’ll be announcing the winners at our Leadership Lunch on September 23, a gala event that includes an awesome panel of women and special guests on stage.

As always, our awards are made possible thanks to partners. This year, we’re proud to be partnering with Commonwealth Bank Women in Focus as our headline sponsor, as well as category sponsors including Charles Sturt University, Organon, MECCA, Foxtel Group, Ole Lynggaard and ACCOR.

Notably, these partners help keep our Awards FREE to enter! This means we get a wider and more diverse mix of women applying, and that you have nothing to lose by nominating and entering.

Get nominating and entering! The process doesn’t take long, but you only have until August 23 to get your name in the mix. Check out the Awards website here.
