Amid growing social, economic and environmental pressures, there’s never been a more urgent time to amplify support for women’s health and wellbeing.

As more women turn to their workplaces for support, the need for inclusive, informed and proactive strategies is essential. Too many women’s health issues continue to remain overlooked, dismissed or ignored, despite progress in policy and awareness.

That’s why Women’s Agenda is bringing together leading experts, advocates and lived-experience voices at this year’s Women’s Health and Wellbeing Summit.

On Tuesday 2 September, a vital one-day event will explore the evolving landscape of women’s health, with subject-matter ranging from medical misinformation to women’s health research frontiers.

Attendees can expect powerful keynotes and interactive panels on topics such as menopause, mental & physical resilience, women’s addiction, combating violence against women, neurodiversity and brain health.

The summit will feature a number of keynote speakers, including GP & leading menopause specialist Dr Fatima Khan, whose clinic in Melbourne supports a holistic approach for women’s mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. In an age of social media, Dr Khan is also supporting younger generations of women to become informed and understand myths surrounding perimenopause and menopause.

High-profile journalist, author and diversity advocate Antoinette Lattouf will also be among the featured speakers. She’s known most recently for her bravery in speaking against injustice, after she took on the ABC in a court case over unlawful dismissal. Lattouf is also the founder of not-for-profit Media Diversity Australia and a mental health ambassador.

Another featured speaker to look out for is Australian singer and songwriter Kate DeAraugo, who in 2005 was the third winner of Australian Idol at just 18-years-old. Since then, DeAraugo has become a mum of two and an outspoken advocate for women struggling with addiction.

The President of the Australian Medical Association, Danielle McMullen is also set to take the stage at the 2025 Women’s Health and Wellbeing Summit. Her expertise extends to many areas of women’s health, including family planning and mental health.

More speakers are set to be announced closer to the date of the summit.

Whether you’re an employer, policy maker, health professional, or advocate—this Sydney event offers space to drive real change in how we support women’s wellbeing.
