Beauty confidence checklist: The beauty takeover tips to help you look and feel good

We’re often taught that confidence comes from within and for the most part, this is true. But in the same way that slipping on a pair of heels can change the way you walk and a good coffee at 8am can be life-changing, a few beauty tweaks can give you the confidence you need to meet professional challenges like a heading up a meeting, giving an important presentation, or acing a job interview head on.

Here’s my beauty confidence checklist:

Savoir Faire Lip gloss in Rapture red. This lovely crimson gloss will not only add a subtle yet work appropriate pop of colour to the lips, but the tangy peppermint scent with also put a pep in your step.

Nuxe Huile Prodeguieuse dry body oil. Made with 98.8% natural formula, this silicone-free oil contains macadamia, hazelnut and camellia extracts and not only adds an instant hit of moisture to limbs, but also brings out the natural colour in your skin tone. Never feel self-conscious of your bare legs again; perfect for those days sans-stockings.

Miller Harris La Pluie Eau de Parfum. A spritz of this scent, with top notes of bergamot, tangerine, and lavender will enliven your senses and bring you into the present. It might also draw the positive attention of coworkers the minute you enter the room, and you know what they say about first impressions…

Glamourflage bella babe blotting paper. This handy beauty tool quickly and easily removes excess oil – simply pat over your t-zone for an instant makeup refresh. Never fear mid-afternoon shine again.

And remember, keeping your shoulders back, hair off of your face and cementing a wide smile on your face will always give you that little slice of extra confidence that’ll be the cherry on top – even if you are faking it! Good luck! – Lauren
